Good morning.
One more day we are glad to contact you again to tell you about our experience in the 2018-1-ES01-KA201-050599 eSchool Garden for Future Citizens project.
Thursday has brought us a Great morning. We woke up as nervous as ever, since this time, our Slovenian colleagues had a surprise ready for us. Today was the time to share a morning to improve our communication in English by practicing with them. For this, we have gone together to a shopping center where we have played billard and bowling. It was an entertaining morning in which we shared good times.
After lunch we got down to work and carried out the workshops that we had prepared for our Slovenian family.
First, we have debated and answered our classmates' questions about Slovenian and Spanish education systems. It has been really illustrative to verify the differences that exist between them and the relationship they have with the different perspectives or ways of understanding that of "going to school".
Afterwards, we have carried out the plastic reuse workshop, where we have built flower pots decorated with our Slovenian couple to share a creative and fun moment together. For this, we have used empty plastic bottles, paints, etc.
After this moment of work, we have made a presentation where we explained why, for what, how and what is needed in an ecological school garden, as well as a video presentation of our school. Hopefully we have managed to motivate and dedication in the garden, to help them.
When we have finished the exhibition, the families of our Slovenian colleagues have come to surprise us and have prepared us a typical Slovenian snack dishes that they themselves have cooked. The truth is that we must tell you ... they were amazing! We are going to have to work hard when they come to Valencia ...
Once we have finished, we have spent an entertaining moment chatting all together in the schoolyard; just before taking the bus and returning to the hotel.
Tomorrow will be our last day with them, hopefully have a great time and have a slow time.
